Animal has teamed up with 10 Deep on this one of a kind BMX bike that was on display at the Agenda trade show this week in NYC. Edwin also shot some photos of Mike Hoder and the bike which you can see here on Defgrip. Also click below to see a couple more close up pics from the 10 Deep site:

Knock It Off

January 25th, 2012

Let’s be clear ladies and gentlemen (and Bow Wow), there are only 3 situations where someone should be wearing snowboard boots: 1) while snowboarding 2) just before snowboarding 3) just after snowboarding. One time I wore snowboard boots to school in 7th grade and realized how stupid it was before 2nd period was over, not to mention it was actually snowing. This will never ever ever be cool, fashionable, or acceptable:

RIP Adam Armstrong; 2003 Edit By Richardo Roberts

January 18th, 2012

The first time I met Adam Armstrong was at Union Square probably in early 2002. At that time there were only a handful of well-known riders in NYC and this random kid from Brooklyn was as good as any of them. I was by myself sitting on my bike waiting to meet up with some people, and he came over and introduced himself right off the bat. He was a legitimately good, down-to-earth dude and we rode together and hung out at Union Square a bunch.

After riding for only a couple years, he started popping up in magazines and videos, but soon after that he was riding less and less. He still passed by Union to hang out on his way to the gym or on his new motorcycle, but unfortunately in 2006 he passed away in a motorcycle accident. He had a big impact on me and the entire NYC BMX scene and he’s definitely missed. Richardo Roberts just posted this quick video of Adam riding in 2003 on his Tumblr:

RAT MAN

Mark Gralla’s part in the new Skavenger DVD. I remember 10+ years ago I was giving this kid a hard time for riding a pink flatland bike, now he’s one of my favorite riders:

Rob Dyrdek Kickflips in a Car

January 17th, 2012

I liked Rob Dyrdek back in the day as a skater but I’m not gonna lie, the Rob Dyrdek TV personality kind of annoys me. You definitely have to respect him as a businessman though, and now I guess I also respect him as a stuntman because this is so crazy and unnecessary and somehow he didn’t get killed. Watch this video to see him kickflip a Chevy Sonic. Not using a skateboard to kickflip a car, but using a car to kickflip..nevermind just watch it:

Chase Dehart’s Hot Butter Section

This is technically “left over” footage but better than 95% of “real” video parts I see. Dehart is the man, not too many people are on this level:
